Review of drafts 
of previously 
approved four 
recommendations: 
The Committee reviewed the first drafts of the four recommendations 
that were chosen for inclusion in the final work of the Committee to be 
presented to the NH Citizens Commission on State Courts for review of 
the entire Commission in March. 
1. Budget Recommendations/Kelly Ayotte 
2. Conducting Improved Relationships Between the Executive and 
Judiciary Branches/Marty Gross 
3. Public Education recommendations/Katrina Swett and Dick 
Winters 
4. Recommendations for Follow-Up and Follow-Through/Ann 
Custer 
Action items will be addressed 
by those assuming personal 
responsibility for 
writing/editing the separate 
recommendations and send to 
all members for re-review by 
2/21/06 for final edits and 
distribution to the Commission 
by 3/1/06. 
Final recommendations will be 
attached to these final minutes 
of the Third Branch Sub-
Committee. 
Discussion of 
Role of Judicial 
Council: 
The Committee also discussed the current role of the Judicial Council 
and the possibility of expansion of its role to include follow-up and 
follow-through of the recommendations of this sub-committee. 
A recommendation to this 
effect will be included in the 
final submission of 
recommendations. 

Next Meeting: 
The next meeting of THE THIRD BRANCH sub-committee of the NH 
Citizens on the State Courts Commission will be held in conjunction 
with and during the next NH Citizens on the State Courts Commission 
meeting on March 13, 2006. Please be aware that a second meeting 
will be held on March 20, 2006. Both meetings will be held from 9 
AM to noon at Representatives Hall at the State House. 
The Committee will review re-
drafted recommendations 
discussed at the February 
meeting.
